Ugh!

Today while I was working in my garden, I found that most disgusting of earth's creatures.....a tomato worm! Gack!!

I don't have tomatoes or squash, but I can't help but wonder if it was attracted to the hollyhocks.* Anyone know? Anyone?

Alternately, I can just hope that one of the mockingbirds dropped the thing accidentally in my yard. (It was already dead when I found it.)

After more consideration,

I decided that the skirt I made didn't look right with the jacket (It happens sometimes, you just cut your losses when it does). I stopped by David's Bridal today and found a 'cabernet'-colored taffeta bustle skirt with attached crinoline.

If the airline (whichever they choose....I don't know because they haven't bought the frelling air-line tickets yet!) As I was saying, if the airline looses our luggage with tux/skirt/corset in it, you will definitely hear about the bloodshed in Malibu!

I've determined that the tomato worm was carried into my yard by one of the many birds. After researching on-line, I've found that hollyhocks aren't all that attractive to them (although the squash beetles seem to like them.)

I have an odd charge on my credit card. I hate leaping through the hoops that it takes to fix something like that, but it has to be done. (It's only $60, and it is possible that I made the charge. I just don't remember ever doing so, nor do I have any record of it, so I want to see paperwork.)

Speaking of travel...

Has anyone given thought to having their formalwear shipped to Malibu (rather than crammed into a suitcase). Do people do that? (I ship stuff back from functions all the time, but I've never tried shipping to a hotel).
