j_cheney | Two hours into Hellboy....

Had kind of a bummer night last night, so I watched DVDs....first a few epsiodes of Farscape, then Hellboy. Not an intellectually challenging night, but fun.

I had a weird glimpse into my editor side of the brain. After watching almost two hours of Hellboy, there's a scene where the villianess swings her sledgehammer at the sidekick and it seems to daze him for a minute or so. My brain said "Hey, wait....it wouldn't happen that way. If she hit him with a sledgehammer, he'd had the side of his face crushed in! No way he'd just be dazed. That's not very realistic!"

OK, this is 2 hours into Hellboy, after a few hours of Farscape....and I'm worried about realism? ::dropping head in hands::

Flesh and blood group met today, and I'll need to do some tidying on the WQ start.
