I am beginning the scissors/highlighters/paperclips stage of revising "The King's Daughter". ::shudders, and begins clearing office desk #2::

This draft has 153K and I want to pare it down to 140K, plus make all the story arcs land perfectly (where have I heard that before?). Wish me luck!

Good luck and here's wishing the revision is not only brilliant, but easy to do. I am never brilliant on the first draft--I'm just happy to have survived the damn thing. I am usually never brilliant on the second run through(sometimes I finally achieve brillance a few drafts into it).
