Just for now....

My nails are hard and my skin looks....well, decent. (I have acne rosacea, which is fairly mild most of the time, but on occasion flares up. The doc and I have discussed medication for this, but I don't want to be on a chronic med if I don't really need it.)
I wish I could say I knew to what I could attribute this temporary state....because I would do it all the time. However, a couple of months ago, I did start switching out "Hair, Skin, and Nails" vites with my multi, every other day. The chance that that's the real explanation is dubious, in my mind
Hasn't done much for my hair, either. Still straw-like. I wonder if it's time to stop dying the stuff.*
displacedtexan brought home a copy of The Guardian (only a week old). Should be an interesting supplement to The Ecomomist.
The bunny's been working up some freaky ideas lately, including the one where there's a serial killer....but he's not actually the story's bad guy. Weird.

Date: 2009-03-13 03:48 pm (UTC)But I'd really love to be able to go without foundation all the time. (Not wearing any today, yay!) I use the Eucerin moisturizer that has a green tint to tone down the redness, and a bit of green powder (from Physician's Something or another.)
I also have a big blotch of it on my decolletage, which I hate. No bumps there, just bright red after I exercize or get out in the sun. I do hate that, because people often think I'm sunburned there....
My doctor doesn't seem to think this leads to a higher skin cancer risk, at least, so that's one good point.
Supposedly something like 85% of caucasians with Irish blood have this after age 35, so you think they'd figure out how to fix it! Oh, well...glad your'e doing better, at least ;o)
