displacedtexan and I took Mr. Loki to the park after church today. WHen we got there, 72 degrees. When we left, 58 degrees. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 25 degrees.

My forced amaryllises are getting into the Christmas spirit.

We watched Hogfather last night. I really don't read humor well. For some reason, I have trouble finding funny books funny. But funny movies? That I can do. ;o)

OTOH, for anyone familiar with both Facebook and Pride and Prejudice, I gacked this link from janni. So funny!

Very funny link, and my familiarity with facebook runs toward my son's pages, and that's about it.

I made the pattern for that one based on a Frank Lloyd Wright glass work....well, actually I based it on a coaster based on the Frank Lloyd Wright glass. I do love Arts and Crafts, and all those nice straight lines ;o)

I love the stained glass look in quilts. Have you done any of the celtic inspired ones using bias bars? I always thought those looked cool.

No, and I'm not actually quilting right now because I can't look down for extended periods (neck issues). I actually like the needlework far better than the piecing...so the other recent work I've done is with wholecloth quiting...I'm weird. ;o)
