Unnamed Short
Mar. 5th, 2008 08:42 amI finished the rough draft of the short I was working on last night...and I'm not terribly happy with it. Came in under 6K, but I fear that I telegraphed the ending. Hmmph. May end up cutting some.
I also need to do some research to verify the infomation about house structure. (I have info for this, I just need to reveiw it), and some societal questions before I clean it up. It's not a happy story, and I don't often do those.
I have a lot of house/yard work planned today, as well as a visit to my cell-phone rep to get a billing problem straightened out. So, I have out the caulk, spackle, paint, dremel, coping saw....gotta go get some pecan shell mulch. Will cut back the Ballerina rosebush, as well as the Chaste Tree...that's the plan, at least.
