I'm working with a Scene Worksheet. Yep, I really want this thing in order before I re-write. I'd like to learn to get things right on the first write through.

Two things influenced this.
1) Last week the Syndicate met with Deborah Chester, author of 38 books. She told us she writes 25 pages a day. That's 6.25K folks. She says she can do that because she's organized and has her technique down. One of the things I have problems with is that I write, and re-write, and re-write.....several times. I'd like to try to learn to do it in 3 or fewer passes.

2)I remember a popular author claiming that she took a month to outline a book, and then five to write the thing. That means she spends approximately 1/6 of her writing time outlining first. Hmmmm. I don't think I'll do that, but I could possibly do better outlining. I'll let you know how it works for me.

Husband has been under the weather all weekend, and I'm mildly blah. (I'm not wretched or anything, just a bit drippy and tired). We missed church this morning. The gray weather outside doesn't help, so we're both dragging. I'm applying vast amounts of caffiene.

(Should take my vitamins RIGHT NOW so I won't forget. Ok, done)
