In the "Giving Back" column...
Feb. 16th, 2008 03:43 pmAfter getting sucked dry by my last volunteer position, I'm a bit hesitant to volunteer for anything. I just told my homeowner's association that I wouldn't run for treasurer, and I've been leery about doing anything other than participating anywhere.
However, since I've had so much fun doing Rapid Fire Readings with Broad Universe, I felt like it was time to start doing my part for BU, so I've signed up to organize the RFR for Conestoga in July. I've already applied for a slot, but the announcement won't be sent out to the Broads until May (because now's really too early). I'm hoping for a lot of good support and fun at the RFR. ;o)
I still don't know whether I'm doing Denvention and ArmadilloCon (my personal fave). We're waiting on word of when the WOTF workshop will be held. I hope I get to go to both of those. I've pretty much decided WFC is out this year, though. ::sighs::
