Out the door...

At least that's my goal this week. I have 4 rough drafts done, and a 5th about halfway done. I have a 6th story that I've yanked off the back burners,thinking I might have an idea where to send it. I want 3 of these out the door this week....I think.

I haven't thought of a name for the eretik story yet. It doesn't exactly fit into the 'Dragon Cycle' I've been working on. (The Dragon's Child, The Dragon's Price, The Dragon's Pearl, ___________, and The Dragon's Intended.) Uh, there's no dragon in it...(That's just the chronological order of the stories)

Anyhow, I'm not certain how 2,3 & 5 will fare without #1 being sold yet, but 4 can go out by itself, I think, without a problem. So out the door this week? TBG, the eretik story, and possibly one of the others. (TDPr would be the logical choice).

Ah yes, the threatened snow did not materialize, but we got excellent rain! Yay!

Beeping...

Downstairs, my answering machine is beeping. A candidate has called to leave me a message asking me to vote for him/her. I find this annoying because,

A) I did my voting this morning.
B) Don't the polls close in 30 minutes?
C) Calling me at home and bugging me is not going to make a favorable impression, I don't care who you are.

So now I must get up, go dowstairs and reset the darned machine. I'll use this as an excuse to get coffee.
