Pepper and Dreaming Death....
Jan. 28th, 2008 08:09 amInhaled a distressingly large amount of Cayenne Pepper last night while topping off my cooking spices. My nose did not enjoy the experience, and I still feel like I have some up there. I will be using saline spray for days.....
Almost finished with the quick revision of Dreaming Death. I should get that done today, which will knock Item 1 of my Novel To-do list.
DD comes in at about 115K words and is certainly the shortest novel I've written so far. (DitD should be shorter, though, once I get it done, under 100K). DD's been sitting at Baen's approaching a year now. I'm not counting on a sale there, but it's better than not having the book out at all.
I would like to get my third pro SS sale. (Please!) When I go agent hunting, it would be nice to be able to claim that I'm an active member. Pointing out that I'm an associate (and therefore non-voting) member seems.....anti-climactic. I'm not certain that would provoke an agent to give me the time of day. Oh well.
