Nervously awaiting....
Apr. 18th, 2007 09:10 amI approved my copy for Baen's Universe last night. The wonderful asst. editor found a slew of missed capitalizations, and changed all my 'hmmm's to 'hmm's. Now I know how that's spelled! ;o) When finished, she posted the story to Baen's e-arc, where the upcoming issue is available on-line. It's quite an interesting way to do it, and I'm very excited.
The art for the story has not surfaced yet, and I'm waiting nervously for that.
I have almost no visual description in the story, so the protag is never really described. The editor told me that she thought Shironne was small, delicate, with dark hair, and young. All of which are correct, so it must be in there somewhere. I'm just hoping the illustrator sees that!
I also get 2 subscriptions to Baen's Universe (I missed that on the contract). Since I already have a subscription, I'll need to figure out what to do with them...not a bad problem.
