Well, blogging is a strange experience. I've been trying to get the whole "Friends" thing figured out, and I think I've made a tiny bit of progress.
I've finally got the requisite Icons uploaded, and got my personal journal appropriately changed to a depressing gray. I like it so much better.
Actually made a bit of progress last night, got about twenty pages written. Still don't think I'm going to hit my self-imposed deadline, though, on "The White Queen". Got a submission off by e-mail today. Need to get a re-print submission on the road tomorrow. Then, I suppose I'll have to start that second agent query that I've been putting off.
Yesterday marks five months now that TOR has held my query about "The King's Daughter". Since "Dreaming Death" came back from them in less than two months, I'm cautiously optimistic.
It's only been a month since I sent a writing sample from "The King's Daughter" to an agent, (4/11) so I'll have to wait on that as well. Since he returned my query pretty quickly, I hope he has time to look at this--he did request it after all. I just hope he doesn't say...well, after chapter 1 it's boring.
I still have 3 people reading that mss, so I hope they can help me fine-tune it...soon....before anyone asks for the complete mss.
Well, need to get to serious work now. Ciao.
