I haven't been sleeping well this week, which is rather unusual for me. (I generally sleep like a log). I've been waking several times a night, which keeps me from getting into a deep sleep, so I'm worn down. I'll try a sleep aid tonight....

Unfortunately, I also over-indulged in Ted's habanero salsa* last night, so my intestines are doing weird and vengeful things today....

Mmmmm....more salsa....I love the burn. ;o)

*Seriously hot salsa, this stuff is bright orange....which tells you what the actual contents are. This has no tomato: it's just peppers.

Perhaps I'll get some sleep tonight....

I've been up since 6 am, myself. I swear, this is the longest post-flu I've ever had. The funny thing is that with the flu proper, I never got to a full fevered state, just really cruddy for three days, followed by a stuffed head for a week.

My theory is that we were all pretty susceptible due to the go-go-go, sleep when you can nature of the workshop. So, we were more easily pummeled, as it were.

Still, habeneros ought to be able to kill off any residual germs, I think. I've had a few memorable encounters with that vegetable, but I am a Midwesterner by birth and not really capable of keeping up with y'all full blooded Tex-Mex sorts.

Back to the novel!

Yeah, I never got fevered, nor did my husband. I do think that the pressure at the workshop made us susceptible. ;o)
