Out of touch...

I spent 10.5 hours doing OWFI stuff yesterday. ::sigh:: A volunteer's work is never done.

On a brighter note, the story that I was thinking about shortening to get it within Shimmer's less-than-5K length...I looked it up yesterday, and it's actually 4.6K. For some reason I had in my head that it was 5.6K, so I'm happy about that. I need to tweak it a bit, change the title (because they just published a lovely story about a bear) and see if they'll take a look.

I also need to re-write the March story (as per some excellent on-line advice) and then get on with that revision. (Yes, I've been procrastinating)

Smart man. YOu know, I've done a couple of big organizations before, but none this time intensive.
