Well, the ice storm has started. We've laid in supplies--milk, eggs, tuna, PB, etc--anticipating the nearly-inevitable power outages. I suppose I'll try to use the down time to read...something I never can find time to do normally.

I hate it when I do that! That's the plan, BTW.

All the schools are closed, most of the businesses, govt offices, etc....so what else can I do but sit home and write! WooHoo (as long as the power stays on)

We, too, have stocked up on supplies. And, of course, booze. We've got the camp stoves out, and the flashlights (even the ones with the hand-crank for a power-source). Already got a big fire going in the fireplace.
