Ridiculously Pleased

Totally statistical, nothing more....but...
I got on to the awesome AnthologyBuilder site today to check the status of a story I'd submitted. It hasn't gone through yet, understandable since they've changed over readers, but I did find that I'd sold a few more copies of the stories I do have there, which is always lovely. Yay! I'm still hanging on to the #2 postion in "romance", which is ridiculously pleasing to me. Yay!
I then bopped over to check a friend's author listing (
jess_ka) to see if she'd uploaded her story "Flowertongue" yet. (I'll be rounding up another anthology when that one goes through.) And there on the page was an extremely cool list ;o)
Customers who bought stories by this author (Jessica Reisman)
also purchased stories by the following authors:
Martha Wells
Samantha Henderson
Cat Rambo
J. Kathleen Cheney
Mary Robinette Kowal
OK, I didn't really do anything to be included on that list, but what an awesome list to find oneself on! I am ridiculously pleased by Anthology Builder yet again!
(I will point out that I don't seem to appear on any other list like this, so it might just be a fluke...Even the people whose names appear on my list don't show me on theirs, except for this one)

Date: 2009-03-05 09:26 pm (UTC)I don't get to hang out with quite such awesome company as you've listed above, but I'll rest content that I currently have three stories in AB's top 100 :-)

Date: 2009-03-05 09:26 pm (UTC)I tried submitting Wisteria to Anthology Builder a long time ago and never heard anything and I think I did it wrong or something. I keep getting side-tracked from going back and trying again.

Date: 2009-03-06 01:34 pm (UTC)And, yes, get to AB. You know, I meant to, right away when I arrived in Michigan, and see about my stories there, and make a book, I'd love a book with as many of my dear friends as possible! and I just never have done it. Another site, another password, another thing to figure out and deal with--I'm an old person faced with the intricacies of an ATM machine, like, I guess. Still, Have.Got.To. :D
