The premise of that show is something I've been thinking about lately. Can humans really move into space, or onto alien planets, or really interact with aliens except in an encounter suit? We're too dependant on our universe of micro-organisms just for basic health. Dropping us into a hyper-clean or alien environment is problematical. (I put a longer post at displacedtexan.)
