Waiting again...
Mar. 24th, 2009 03:12 pmNow for another bout of sitting around the house, waiting. (As you know, gentle reader, I don't handle this well.)
The insurance adjuster will come to look at the roof....eventually. He will call first. (This is the first time we've ever filed a claim in 10 years or so, so we don't know how well they'll handle it.)
So far, so good, though. No visible leaks yet, despite 2.5 inches of rain last night, along with more nasty wind and hail.
And I am once again impressed by the toughness of some plants. The fence guys savaged one of my Amaryllis bulbs, nearly cutting it in half with a post-holer. I salvaged what I could and replanted it. The crazy thing is sending up leaf straps. I don't expect it to manage a bloom this year, but wow...that's most impressive. (Will snag a picture of it soon.)
Working on IS3 today, trying to get some stuff down. Back to the WIP tomorrow. ;o)
