Another Drive-by
Feb. 5th, 2009 02:00 pm1) Just got back from the massive OU Medical Center complex in Downtown OKC. (Not for me, a friend has a daughter there....I took her lunch.) Huge, vast, confusing. Went down to information, no one was there. Not so helpful, akshully...
2) The icon there is one of the many winged lions that adorn the roof of the Oklahoma Capital building. Got to see them in person today on the way back from OU.
3) Got the membership thing squared away, so I do get to vote on the Nebulas this year. Yay!
4) Finished the Post-RD outline of DitD. 97 scenes, 470 pages. Needs lotsa work. One scene has the note "Not much happens" under it. Oops!
5) Following the lead of our fearless Gold Award winner, Ian HcHugh, I've made my Writers of the Future winning story, "Taking a Mile" available free on my webpage: here. Ian's is available here. Read freely, children!
