Quantum of Solace/Other Stuff

Hint to all future viewers: Rent Casino Royale and watch it before going to this.
General non-spoilery impressions:
1) I enjoy seeing Bond performing feats of extreme athleticism...that are actually possible for a human body to perform. The suspension of disbelief is comparatively minimal in this arena.
2) I think there probably should have been more collateral damage than shown.
3) I rather enjoyed this particular Bond Girl. Not as good as Michelle Yeoh, but....
4) I love Judi Dench as M. She makes this movie so much more enjoyable.

Anyway, the important thing: The TRAILERS
Yes, we saw both the Star Trek trailer (oh, heavens, that poor helpless car!) and the Watchmen trailer. We'll be busy in March. Nothing else looked particularly interesting.
Final note: I made some queries about the status of stories I had questions about, and I actually know where everything is now. After reading a recent post on the matter, I decided not to move anything. Yes, some of the stories are in the market equivalents of the La Brea Tarpits, but I'm just going to sit tight right now.
The one that's about 450 days? I'll have to keep thinking about that one. But I've queried twice and I know where it is now. If I don't hear anything within a reasonable time, then we'll see. The next two down are accounted for (electronic system), and I haven't started worrying about the next two after that yet, so for now, I'm calm.
