Doggie...

So, we're on the way home from church and we see a dog ambling around in the middle of the street...so we stop and call it over. The beast then proceeds to walk all around the car (showing an improper lack of car-fear). I got out and went to look at its collar and found no tag....at which point the dog walked around me, climbed into the car, and curled up on the floorboard....

So we took him home, figuring someone would be looking for him. Part Golden Retriever and Part Chow, with a weirdly mottled tongue. Sure enough, when my husband looked on Craig's List a couple of hours later, there was a 'lost' listing that matched him perfectly.

Which is really good, since Loki didn't like him at all.

The visiting dog turned out to be named Thor.

Serendipity strikes again.
