Rough Draft/6 Random Things

I'm done with the rought draft of the eretik story. The current ending is lame, there's no title, and I threw everything in (no kitchen sink, though). It needs some work, but I think I'll leave it for a couple of days. displacedtexan says he doesn't think it's a horror story, just very dark.

1) I'm incredibly cheap in some areas and, as a result, I cut my hair myself. (I've actually talked to the hairdresser I used the last time I had it done here about 8 years ago, warning her that I may come see her in the summer)

2) I hate soggy bread. I do not know why, but it provokes a gag response if I even get a tiny bit in my mouth.

3) I call my right hand my 'stupid hand'.

4) I like really, really spicy food, but don't like vinegary tastes. (So Tapatio Sauce good, Tabasco Sauce bad)

5) I like to drive long distances.

6) I have a stuffed buffalo (named Buffalo Bill) that my parents gave me for Christmas when I was six. I still sleep with it sometimes. OK folks, work this out...J. is 43, got buff when 6, therefore buff is....yep, that makes it 37 years old.

The To-Do List

SO, things I need to get done...soonish rather than, say, December...

Novel Stuff:
1) Do quick revision on DD
2) Re-outline SOTF and get to work on it.
3) Work on DitD (which ties back to problem #4, which means I need to do 4 before 3, I think)
4) Sit down and think about what I should do with TKD and TWQ.

Story Stuff:
1) Finish Rough Draft of Dragon Story #5
2) Clean up and get out Dragon Stories #2-5 (OK, this includes the story I just finished. There is no dragon in it, but it involves the same family, so it's the odd one in the cycle)
3) Open up SD and clean it up. Perhaps send it out, perhaps not.
4) Outline the Siva story and write it. This will, unfortunately, run close to 20K (of which I've already written 10K). OTOH, I could try to stretch it into a novel length. Hmmmm....
5) Work on the Miko story I've been telling myself I would do.
6) Figure out a plot for the 'seventh son' story. I want to bring that in under 5K, so It can't be too complicated.

Now that I have it written out, it makes it a little easier to prioritize. ;o)
