Duotrope Sub-tracker/Dog-waxing
Nov. 16th, 2007 09:57 amWell, I went ahead and put all my stuff into the Duotrope Submission Tracker (except the WOTF story, which really doesn't count.) I was sitting with the normal submissions Word file and manually figuring the days submissions had gone out, when I thought....
So, counting the WOTf story, I actually have 7 things out. Well, one's a novel, and another is a re-print, but that's 7 total, which is sort of a high point for me.
Got some good suggestions from an editor on a submission, and sought help from the wonderful
mmerriam who mailed back promptly with most excellent answers. (Thanks again!) The revision is back in the editor's hands, and now I must wax the dogs work on re-writing October and November.
Unfortunately, I worked on the January story last night, writing 2K of words that probably won't be included in the final version.
