The mysteries of HTML and Google Juice
Nov. 14th, 2007 09:59 amOK, so something went bizarrely astray with my web-page the other day, and I didn't notice it until this morning, when I had to go ahead and fix it. I'd inserted, somehow, a stray bit of of HTML that turned a section blue....oh, well. Got it redone. Now page is back to normal.
Google Juice is a bizarre thing, and I'm generally careful to keep my 'real' name separate from my writing name. Well, it seems that yesterday's announcement--which has my real name slapped on it--has turned that upside down. Now when you google my real name, you automatically get my web-page under "J. Kathleen Cheney" as the first entry.* **
This has happened, BTW, in one day, because of one posting in one blog. And unfortunately, all the people who connected to my web-page yesterday in order to create all that Google Juice got to see my messed-up! index page. Grrrrr!

**Before you got some of my Math Teacher stuff, and some 18ish black belt kid who happens to share my name.
