Oh dear....I want to scrub my eyes...

So, I have a friend in Australia who orders books on E-bay. The vendors ship them to me, I accumulate them, and ship them off to Aus when I have a full box. This is how I got onto some 'collectibles' mailing lists.

Today I received a "Barbie Collectors" catalog. On the way to the recycle bin, I opened it to a random page and nearly dropped it. Yes, there was the 80's "Cher" Barbie, complete in black leather jacket, fishnet bodysuit and thigh-high boots. Ack!

So much for little girls' toys.

The rough draft of Faces of War is done. One day. Of course, I think I'll have to change the name of the story, and then go back and get the regional voices correct, make certain all the battalions and battles line up, but I kinda like it.

It's under 5 K. Wild, huh?

This is one of those stories that only one person is going to get to sell. I hope I got it right, but I'll have displaced_texan look at it tomorrow and level a verdict.

Hmmm, I wonder if I can just spin out the RD of The Dragon's Intended tomorrow? This was nice, particularly since I fretted forever over Inheritance of Fire.
