Childish Ranting
Oct. 15th, 2007 10:57 amI got an e-mail from a Writers Federaion officer this morning, asking for me to tutor her in running the on-line store (creating entries, items, etc.) She wants to come over Thursday morning so that we can work on this on my computer. It's seriously just menu after menu, but in the sprit of cooperation...
It would have been better if she hadn't started the e-mail. "Jennifer, would it be..."
OK, I was in business for a long time. I do make an effort to try to call people by their name--especially if I'm asking for a favor. It's proper ettiquette. If I can't remember their name, I admit it. I don't simply pick a random name that happens to start with the same letter.
