In the car....

So, I drove about 7 hours yesterday...a good time to think. I've been pondering over my rewrite of The King's Daughter, after being told at the workshop that I need to re-write it as a YA novel and do it all from Ellis' POV.

So, first conclusion: I clearly need to change the name of the novel.
The readers assumed that since Ellis is the title character, she's the hero of the story.

Hmmmm....this is not the case.( Read more... )

Going off-line....

Well, I'm officially starting the media fast tonight...

I'm thinking about starting at sunset (hubby's idea) and wrapping around till next sunset. I'll see you guys tomorrow night. Don't say anything interesting till I get back. And perhaps I'll have lots of profound insights to share (although I doubt it).
