Feeling better today...
Apr. 11th, 2007 06:51 pmI recently went to AggieCon where one of the panels discussed "Music and Fantasy". It turned out to be a very intimate group, mainly talking about what music the writers found inspiring, or what they liked to write to. Most of the music turned out to be extremely hard rock, so when they got aroud to asking me what I listen to when I write, I felt a little weird.
I listen to softer stuff, not rock. Hem, Autumn Defense, Kim Richey, Leahy, Kings of Convenience, Norah Jones, Little Big Town.... The whole episode made me feel sort of abnormal, but I'm certainly not going to start listening to dark music just to fit in.
F/SF writers CAN listen to country/folk music, I say!
::crossing arms over chest and pouting::
Back to work now: Revision of wolf story is done, although I'm still feeling iffy about the title. Working on revision of March story...want to get on to other stuff. Have a nice evening, world.
