One snake-free day

Got The Bear Girl off to Clarkesworld Magazine after cutting it down to almost exactly 4K words. Please note that I had the invaluable help of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
melissajm. She just has so much more native brutality than me! (She's been putting out character's eyes this week...on their own claws)
Working on The Arranged Marriage tonight. My story on Critters got bumped back into the next batch, making it a week later. Hmmph. ::pouting::
Finally finished Bujold's The Curse of Chalion and will give it the good verdict. Finished means a big deal from me, because I do dump a lot of books mid-stream. I am now considering buying the next in that series, but I have Berg's Daughter of Ancients speeding its way to me from the Amazon warehouse, which makes any other book doubtful for weeks. Hopefully I'll finish that one by WFC.
Ooh, a day of working in the yard tomorrow. Yay!
