I had a writing productive day yesterday, hope to do same today. I want to get this dratted first draft finished! (At this point, yes, I admit it's a bit disjointed, but I can fix that in the second draft!)
I ordered a copy of Lagaan today, admittedly used. The movie was recommended to me by students (and NPR), but I just haven't been able to bring myself to pay full price for it. I order quite a bit of used merchandise, mostly DVDs, but try not to do fiction that way very often, since the writers don't get anything for used books (and you actually don't save that much on books).
I am still looking for a few out of print books, but since I'm not willing to pay the prices I see on-line, I'll just wait! (Anybody got a copy of Le Soliel du Grand Retour or Aux Confins de L'Ouragan they want to sell me, cheap?)
