Observations on the Franken-truck
Aug. 17th, 2006 06:25 pmWe went to London last year. We didn't tour the Palace....we toured the Royal Mews (admittedly, my idea).
After looking at the two totaled trucks my brother has disassembled in his shop, (he's making a single Franken-truck out of them) I made a weird discovery. The springs on the pick-up are essentially the same as the springs on a carriage.
It's strange how some technologies have changed so radically in the last couple of hundred years, and some....just haven't.
On the other hand, got my printer back up and running again today. Yahoo!
(Nix that above....printer dead again)
