Another on the way...
Jul. 15th, 2006 08:53 amWent to my normal mailing guy and he set me up with some bizarre size of envelope that worked just right. (Used the big rubber bands, though)
So Dreaming Death is on its way to lurk in a slush pile, all 517 pages of it. (BTW, I did try e-mailing the publisher. After two days they said 'hmmm, we don't know....we'll get back to you. Still haven't heard about the disposable mss, but my deadline is past, so I had to send it anyway.)
Got the standard rejection from F&SF on "Demons". For some reason, I just don't seem to click with JJA's style, and he never reads more than a few paragraphs of what I write. I always get the lowest level of rejection from him. Oh, well! So "Demons" is off to Fantasy Magazine this week. Have to get a re-write done on another story and re-submit to BAEN.
I get to go to my writing group's meeting, followed by an OWFI meeting, so I think Saturday's a wash. Have a nice, blistering day, everyone else!
