Plinths...
Jun. 7th, 2006 03:33 pmOK, I'm going forward with 'plinth' as the name for that over-large piece of masonry. A plinth is a square or rectangle of masonry that juts out beneath something that it's supporting...such as pillars. Well, it's not perfect, but I've spent way too much time obsessing over this. Besides, if I stick a statue, like a lion or something comprable on each one, they definitely become plinths.
Someone on Speculations informs me that the lead can sit around in the bad 'guy's brain for an undisclosed time period--more than long enough for me to kill it off before lead poisoning becomes a serious problem. Nice to know.
