My actual concern is not the pressing. It's the fact that if the airlins looses a bag with several hundred dollars of formal wwear in it, we'll probably only get reimbursed 200 for the bag. If it's shipped, the box can be insured for its value... (The tux with its accessories (studs, tie, cufflinks) runs about 600, and the corset about 200. We'd lose a bunch of money.)
