Yep, that little power outage freaked me out. Added to it, my DSL wouldn't connect this morning, provoking a frenzy of plugging and unplugging, booting and rebooting until I am here at last! ::sigh of relief::

Well, I got TNOD ready to mail off on August 1, put POV out for its first run on Baen's Bar (which has been pretty overloaded since they re-opened for submissions). Today I'm going to try to locate the slow spots in TAM (that apparently stalled out both Sheila Williams and GVG) and start shaping it up to send out.

I completed my new outline for The White Queen only to catch the Fencon Digest where some people are now saying 'synopsis'. Where did 'synopsis' come from? In her e-mail, Toni Weisskopf said three chapters not to excede 10K words, plus an outline not to
excede 10> pages. That is what also appears in the original workshop submission rules. ::sigh of disgust this time::

I'll be really annoyed if they've changed the requirements this late....since everything is due on the first. (My outline is actually 10 pages....yeeesh!)

Oh, yes, I remember you talking about what SW had said before. Good luck with that, but it's so subjective, that sort of comment.
