From various horoscope postings for me today:
(Honestly, all today's fare, I promise.)
In your work environment, you’re finding it somewhat difficult to push your ideas through. For one reason or another the atmosphere is not quite right, nobody seems to want to listen, and you notice a lack of team spirit. Everyone seems to be working in isolation at the moment rather than for a common goal, and you are finding little satisfaction in this way of working.
Wait a minute, that was yesterday.....

Some irritating letters or phone calls could come your way, but nothing that you can't deal with.
7-day form rejection from GUD this morning, must get the story back out.

Letters and phone calls could come from far away, bringing good news that you'll almost certainly want to pass on to others.
Much better. I don't care for the 'could', though, which seems a bit of a hedge...

There can be unexpected revelations midweek.
Uh, which of the two above, please?

You might find yourself spacing out at times and unable to concentrate on any tasks at hand...
Oh please, like that's not EVERY day of my life....

In the evening: curl up with the latest P. D. James mystery.
Horoscope apparently brought to you by: Alfred A. Knopf Publishing.

Sometimes I think these people are insane.

Worked on the outline for 3.5 hours, and decided that's my upper limit. My back hurts now. I'm not actually cutting as much as I feared, but I'm also aware that when I'm done, a big restructuring shift might be in order....in other words, I'm doing a preliminary outline, but may change things dependant upon how I like it when I'm done.

Will cut some characters and a bunch of the sub-plot fluff. Again, the plot structure of the first half is not ideal, (the 7-point plot) and I'm not even certain how the second half will work out, separated as it is....

My scenes started out intro, intro, action, action, action, action, action, action, talk, talk, talk, action, talk.....so on (This is where you get to that slow part of the book. I really have to cut some of the 'talk' parts).

Will work tonight on getting the rejection back out, as well as the presumed rejection (haven't gotten it yet, but I'm sure it's on its way). Then try to finish up the rough of Dragon 5.
