Improving weather/Stories out/Poetry
Dec. 11th, 2007 10:08 amThe nasty stuff has all moved up toward Kansas. It's raining today, which should really help. I expect that on Thursday, we'll be out removing branches. Much thunder overhead....
I got Masks of War into an envelope and I'll get it out in the mail today. I still haven't decided where to send Whatever Else, so I'll have to look into that today. Must work on the 2 dragon stories later.
stinabat commented on her recent attempts to read poetry. I admit that I've never much followed poetry either. I have, however, lately been reading ancient Chinese poetry with the desire to understand the period better. The Jade Mountain is a collection of 300 Chinese poems from 618-906. The weird thing is that some of them are still oddly relevant. Others admittedly miss me completely, but some really are poignant (and thankfully short).
