Dec. 4th, 2007 10:38 amThanks to everyone who offered their sympathy and support yesterday.
displacedtexan and I are very grateful for your concern. No one likes going through this, much less alone.
Mister Loki hasn't quite figured out where his sister is, but he's a really 'up' sort of dog, and we suspect he'll be fine as the solo canine in the household.
In an effort to get back on an even keel, we've decided to put up the Christmas trees this year(we don't always do so), and will spend some time doing that tonight. We don't do much in the way of outside decoration, unlike some of our neighbors.
Got a 76-day rejection on Sunday from Clockwork Phoenix. Rejectomancy follows:
"I enjoyed this," Wow, he liked it!
"but in the end felt it wasn't quite right" Oh, bummer...still a rejection after all.
I'll look at another venue for Whatever Else later, when I'm not so out of it. I don't suspect that I'll get much writing done this week, but I have some revisions I can look at when I feel better.
