Thank you for your patience and for giving me the opportunity to read your manuscript. This is a well-written tale but is not quite right for me. Please try me again with something else.
So very kind! Well, it was my first try there, and I got invited to re-sub, which is almost as good as it can get. (not as good as "...we have been waiting breathlessly for this story to come along...") Hmmm, somewhere else.... ;o)
