Rejection Reaction Poll

Several friends of mine have been having the blows coming in hard and heavy recently, so rejection hs been on my mind. We often can't predict how we'll feel when it hits. And needless to say, some people are better psychologically suited to handle rejection than others (which can be said about telemarketing, as well) and they deal with it more easily, letting it just slide off their backs (duck/water analogy there for anyone who missed it.)

So,
[Poll #1255972]

Any brilliant panaceas out there for wounded spirits?

My first reaction was "I can only pick one???"

In no particular order I

sulk, eat something extremely high in calories, find alcohol, find another market, write another letter/email, watch Bernard's rejection from Black Books about a million times http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JU4S2BIqoHY, eat more (pref high quality cheese), drink more, watch the cat leave in disgust, watch the cat return with a consiliatory bird he has killed for me, throw out the cat, send out the next query.

Yes - an I've got a great variety from him. The best was a tie between a robin and a blue tit.

Nothing says love like a dead, mostly shredded songbird from you cat. Or a conservatory full of feathers. He just don't get why I don't understand that.

We are a sadly limited species....

I love that video. Poor Bernard! He spent all weekend writing that novel.

I know! Is it any wonder he's so upset?
