Urg...

The ears are still giving me fits, popping and snapping. They're un-blocked most of the time, but closed enough that it's annoying. Went to the gym yesterday and jogged a bit but, under the influence of Sudafed I got lightheaded and could only jog for a couple of minutes at a stretch. (Cold sweat) Perhaps tomorrow.

[livejournal.com profile] displacedtexan is actually suffering his congestion in his chest, which just goes to show that different people have different wiring. His ears? OK.

And we have a WOTF review over at SciFi Catholic....which I didn't even know existed until now. The reviewer apparently neither likes nor dislikes my story, but he kindly spells my name correctly, which is good enough for me ;o)

Sounds like the fact that it got a paragraph meant that your stoty was one of the better-liked ones.

Well, he gave a longer paragraph to one he didn't care for...so non-committal is what I'll call it.

A mention is a mention, anyway. I never heard of SciFi Catholic, either. The Internet has made the world such a specialized place, in some ways!

You really have to develop thick skin in your profession, don't you? Hang in there...you're WONDERFUL! Sis

He didn't say anything bad. He simply never said whether he liked the story or not.....which is far better than saying something bad ;o)
