This is dumb...
I actually had that very thought last night as I crossed p. 110 of the WIP.
OK, it's a first draft and not very tight. The plot is intentionally simple, with pretty much only one sub-plot. Anyone who's ever seen my novel work would know that's REALLY hard for me to do. So the plot feels overly-simple to me.
I have to sit down and make certain conversations get lined out so that important tidbits are revealed when I want them to be. I also have to get a few more other things thrown into the proper places. But I wanna get this first draft done by the end of summer. I really wanna!
So I'm putting up with the 'dumb'.
