Title Help

I have a terrible time with titles, but in the Spring Issue of the Bulletin, found this ray of hope: Lulu Titlescorer.

According to them...
The title Dreaming Death has a 79.6% chance of being a bestselling title!

I feel better already! (A disclaimer says this is not an exact science, but I'll cling to the hope.)

ETA: The King's Daughter doesn't fare nearly so well....must consider changing...

Nice! Between Worlds got 63.7%. The demon book, OTOH, scored about as low as it can go-10%.

awww, it's just rubbish. But I am consistent. All my noun/noun or noun/adjective titles score 69 %; the "xxxx of xxxx" titles score 63.7 %.

And just for the record, both "Lolita" and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" score in the mid-40s.

WOW, that sticks...change the title right away!

Using the title to predict probability of success is pretty questionable anyway. ;o)

Eh, it's just a working title. And how much credibility can you really give to a blog toy?

Actually, that's the real thing Lulu uses....but they do warn that they miss a lot. ;o)

But does it mean anything, or is it just for fun?

Correlation isn't the same thing as casuality...rule #1 of statistics.
