I don't think that mine is bad enough to try meds yet, and I only have an outbreak (little white bumps, bright red nose and cheeks) once a year or so.

But I'd really love to be able to go without foundation all the time. (Not wearing any today, yay!) I use the Eucerin moisturizer that has a green tint to tone down the redness, and a bit of green powder (from Physician's Something or another.)

I also have a big blotch of it on my decolletage, which I hate. No bumps there, just bright red after I exercize or get out in the sun. I do hate that, because people often think I'm sunburned there....

My doctor doesn't seem to think this leads to a higher skin cancer risk, at least, so that's one good point.

Supposedly something like 85% of caucasians with Irish blood have this after age 35, so you think they'd figure out how to fix it! Oh, well...glad your'e doing better, at least ;o)
