Happy things, 4, I think...

Do you know what these are?


I spent a good part of this morning cooking...
-Eggs with Hashbrowns
-Baked apples
-Broccoli and Beef Stir-Fry
-Amish Friendship Bread
-2 lbs of bacon
(plus I have chicken mole marinating for dinner)

I can pretty much go to a store and buy whatever I want. I don't have to have the above ration-tickets. That pleases me. No matter how tough it seems right now, on the whole this country has seen far more difficult days.


These are my mom's, BTW....(if you don't want you name up there, I'll take it down, mom.) I hope we never have to use these again.

Wow, my parents told me about those, but I've never seen any.

My mom made a note higher up...the reason that they had some left over (almost a whole book) is that they didn't have the money to buy any of the things in the book anyway....so no using the coupons. Makes me grateful, too.
