Laptop Love

I can't say that I love my new laptop, but it gets suspiciously more affection that my old ThinkPad. The new one is a hand-me-down from displacedtexan. He got a new Dell, so I got his old one.

Admittedly, the ThinkPad did have a sleeve of its own, and its own bag. I did buy it a new battery and a wireless card, but otherwise, it never got much special treatment, not even a name, really.

The Thinkpad's sleeve fits the Dell, but just barely. The computer bag? No way. So the new computer will probably end up getting its own bag. I kinda like this one. Expensive, but usable (I'm going to have to measure to see if it fits first).


I also bought the Dell a skin (from an Irish company, but they had one I liked), which I never did for the IBM. I feel a little traitorous about that, but the IBM did have several deficiencies...I even bought the Dell a lock today.

Anyhow, I suspect I'll use this one enough to give it a name eventually.

In an annoying side note, Internet Explorer has been crashing constantly for the last couple of days. Any ideas?
