Ariat Bootlust.....
So, last night (long after I went to sleep) I 'won' the auction I was bidding for on E-bay.
These appear to be Ariat "Spat" boots (as opposed to "Spat II", which is this year's model). They're paddock boots, whereas the Spat II is sometimes listed as a "Motorcycle Boot". Go figure. Anyhow, I've been wanting a pair of these, but have been unwilling to shell out the $130 for them retail, so I was pleased to get them on E-bay for under $50.

I happen to like this particular brand of boot becasue they're comfortable for standing long hours to teach Calculus. (I speak from experience there.) I know their last fits my foot, and they're good quality workmanship. Anyhow, I'm pleased I got my bid!
