At last...
Got the final word from WotF today. I got an honorable mention, which I suppose should do for the first try. If I get rejected by Asimov's in the next week and a half, then I'll have a story to send in for this quarter, but in all honesty, I'd really rather not be rejected by Asimov's at all. ;o)
I actually e-mailed WOTF this morning to check on the status (and the contest administrator answered very politely) so I had poor timing. The letter was postmarked two days ago. Why mine came so much later than some other people's, I have no clue.
Anyhoo, now I have "TNOD" on my hands again, and must think of a place to send it. Ralan's, here I come.....
