No, it doesn't appear that WOTF24 is out today either, meaning that Borders had a bad date as well....(Amazon is still showing Sept 8). It would be nice to know when that anthology is going to be released. ::sighs::

Wrote 2.3K on the PB story yesterday, which appears likely to hit a gruesomely unmarketable 15-20K. ::sighs again::

Sorted out irises, packed some up to mail to a flister. Bagged some up for family members. Will probably re-plant the others tomorrow, along with some "Batik" and "Immortality" that I've picked up. Went to the park and Mr. Loki is now tired.

Lovely weather, though. Gotta like fall weather. ;o)

I know the feeling about that 15-20K range. Meh. There are markets, but not many. I don't care anymore where the word count hits on shorts/novelettes. If they sell, great, if not, I put them aside to revise later. At least you have some good credits to your name already :)

This one reads more like a romance, though, despite having speculative elements. Perhaps I can sell it in that realm (because they do seem to like novellas). Unfortunately, SF credits won't help me over there. :(
