(The art, according to the editor, is not the right piece, but they'll get it swapped out)

ETA: The art is now switched out, to a lovely red Welsh Dragon. Could not be more appropriate. ;o)

Actually, the modern equivalents of these units have web-pages where lots of historical info is provided. That's where a lot came from. Thanks!
